Dr. Kim’s outreach project today strives to eliminate the stigma of mental health by equipping people with psycho-education and the emotional vocabulary to create a  prevention-before-cure model around mental health

In this episode, we talked about how Dr Kim herself handled being self-quarantined in Hong Kong, how to choose who to talk to when you need somebody to talk things out, the importance of physical touch, important skillsets to develop for relationships with family, friends and partners, establishing purpose, narcissism vs woke culture and making life adjustments.

Dr Kim has a long history of working with children, having worked in multiple children’s organizations in both Hong Kong and Los Angeles, as well as special-needs education and on a project about early detection of autism.

Not just that, she’s a retired MMA fighter who chose to finish her doctorate in clinical psychology over a growing MMA career at the time.  She also won her age bracket in the Hong Kong Weightlifting Championship of 2018, AND she remains competitive in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.

You gotta check out her instagram page as her posts are helpful and bite size if you like the Instagram serving size.  Kim also writes blog posts on her website, which is where you can learn about her outreach projects.
