Jit Chat
Stories of Jiu-Jitsu changing lives, influencing perspectives and lifestyles of practitioners and professionals.
Personally for me, martial arts have been a part of my life since 2004. I took various lessons from Capoeira, Muay Thai, Boxing, MMA, Krav Maga, KungFu and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, lessons beyond technique. I went on a path to keep what is useful for me and discard what isn’t (not so secretly wanna be a ninja warrior but NOT THAT ninja warrior TV show). Along that path, one thing is consistent - I learn resiliency in a tangible manner.
It’s pretty cool how much we can learn about ourselves when we’re put in challenging situations, that’s likely the reason why my current heavy interest lays with BJJ - plus seeking weaponry & combat training.
Jit Chat is a more casual setting compared to Tackling Minds where I’m joined by another co-host. You’ll see Mike “Red Uka” Parry and Tesa Ho, both BJJ Black Belts and guaranteed a LOT of BJJ legends mentions.
